News update 23.04.2015

We are often asked how come there are so many 9F models coming onto the O gauge market at once. As we have discussed before there are years of research and planning before we announce a model, we would really like to keep this close until we are ready but some times we have to break the news because of others.

No lets take a tongue in cheek look at the runners in the brass RTR models Grand National

Horse 1 odds 250/1 to make a model before Telford

Announced but still no prototype or drawings

Horse 2 odds 100/1 to make a model before Telford

Announced but still no prototype or drawings

Horse 3 odds 8/1 to make a model before Telford

Announced un-motored prototype focusing (quite rightly in my opinion) on another model first

Ourselves 5/4 favourite (for once)

2nd prototype made & painted will be on show at Cleckheaton and possibly Reading depending on how jet lagged I am. Production chassis assembled and motorised final order sent for loco types & bodies, visit to factory 2nd May to finalise production with a July delivery anticipated.

I have decided the remaining numbers and variants, check the web pages for details of what is left, If you have placed an "order" with one of the other suppliers have a look, you never know your choice may just be there.

Just a reminder the pre- order discount goes once the locos land
